it is a automatice but u can drive it in stick and it wont get outof 3rd gear the car was in a wreak and it needed wireing but l rewired it and it started up it was ruing fine until l got 40 mph or high and the engine light would stay on then go off after l unpluged the battery or started the car like 4 times well then it just stay is on well it sayes it a silonoed maf. but l replaced that and it did't work well if anyone one knows whart might be the problem let me know or it anyone knows a good machanic let me know

Not familiar with your car but sounds like it could be a sensor or wiring in the transmission

it sounds like an input speed sensor is bad or the wires are loose ck the wires first then the sensor take to an autozone or any parts store they will scan it if it is a po715 code that is input speed sensor if it is po720 it is an output speed sensor they are both located under the air cleaner box on top of trans

the problem could be that there is a rock stuck in ur gear box that is blocking ur car is clutch from going into a higher gear.
