Hyundai has successfully beaten honda in reliability and quality for the past two years and have there guns on Toyota next!

Who here believes Hyundai will surpass Toyota?
Here are some Hyundai victories
hyundai azera vs toyota avalon
winner:hyundai azera
hyundai sonata vs toyota camry
victor:Hyundai sonata

Hyundai is also beating Toyota in driver satsifaction too.

So l think it will be a matter of time before this Korean juggernaut surpasses Toyota in reliability they just have one more step thenToyota is done.

Those Koreans are really starting to mess up the Japanese perception that only Japanese can make reliable
cars.Same with Samsung and Sony!!!!!!!!!!!

l wonder how long it will take for Hyundai to have a good consumer perception after all they having been making garbage until year 2002!!!
l drive Benzes and Toyotas,Toyotas are good Hyundais are good but Benzes are great! My Camry had an air conditioning problem and a transmssion problem but l dont say Toyotas are trash on the one assumption, other than those two faults my Toyota is very reliable!

l had 2 hyundais...no prob with either..have a honda now and have had problems..wish l had my hyundai is back..but they did not have a van at the time.only prob with hyundai is the do not hold a good resale value..they need to get that changed and then they've got something

That is just a marketing gimmick. Price a year old toyota versus a year old Hyundai. Cant find a used toyota? wonder why?

l agree with ur assessment. l bought a Tuscon Limited this year & maxed it out. It is a little thirsty on the fuel, but does great for an SUV. If u had told me a couple of years ago l would buy a Hyundai a couple of years ago, l wold have laughed in ur face. Toyota makes a good product & has market recognition & buyer loyalty. However the warranty & the vastly improved product of Hyundai will attract new buyers. Do l see them taking the market share from Toyota? Not any time soon. But keep in mind, Toyota started out as economy cars.

The value of a Hyundai will never be as high as the value of a Toyota once u drive it off the lot.

Always toyota...Toyota at this time is the best on the market..Although the new Hyundai Sonata is nice l would still say toyota
My dad has had toyota 4 five years and has never had a problem with it

l own a 2002 SantaFe GLS with a 2.7 V6 (173 HP). l have 60k miles on it. While it is not the most powerful SUV on the road, it holds its' own on the highway. Before buying my SantaFe, we looked at the Honda CRV , Subaru, & the Dodge Caravan. l truly believe that it is only a matter of time until Hyundai surpasses Toyota. They have already religated Nissan to #4. l recommend Hyundai to anyone who will listen. Check out the entire Hyundai line, l am sure that u will find something that meet ur need & budget

l could not have said it better then Roger. l have two Hyundai Accents, and could not be happier with them. l am planning on being a Hyundai owner for life.
As far as how long it will take for them to have a good consumer perception, it will take some time. More and more people are starting to see how fer Hyundai has come, but there is still a lot of stigma to overcome.

l think you're wrong, my sister has had a 2006 Hyundai Elantra and a 2000 Honda Civic, after 1 week the Elantra had an oil leak and the air conditioning was not working, my sister has had the 2000 Honda Civic for at least one year now and she loves it and it is had no problems

One thing is that Toyota develops a good product & sticks with it. Name one which was of a bad design. I've had a 89 camry with 500,000 miles on it & never had to replace any engine parts except the filters, & battery. l also had a 89 corolla with 300,000 miles with the same situation. l had a 99 civic & put 200,000 miles on it with no problems at all.

Did u know that the same engine which was in my 89 camry was also used in the 1996-2000 Rav 4. Over 10 years with an engine design.

l can not say the same with Hyundai given their track record. My cousin had a 90 excel, which at the time was supposed to be compatible to a corolla. It never made it past 120,000 miles before the engine just quit. Others have had the same problems. That is why its rare to find a 80s & early 90s Hyundai on the road, unlike the many Toyotas & Hondas we pass by everyday on our way to work.

Another thing Hyundai is not a new company. They have been around since 1946. Toyota has been around since 1934 & Honda has been around 1948 making motorcycles & did not make their first car since 1962. So really if u go by the numbers they should be on equal territory.

Toyota & Honda spent alot of time & money on reasearch while Hyundai spent more time just trying to get a product out on the market.

Yes Hyundai is getting better than they were, but they still do not compare. Awards mean nothing. Reputation means everything. Alot of vehicles win awards, but how many of them r still on the road after 5-10 years? Any car can be given a reliability award with only 2 years of operation. So that award is just pulling a name out of a hat. The way it should be judged is the after 5 year mark & the after 300,000 mile mark. Then lets see who tops the list.

whoever said that hyundais are better then hondas in reliability is was probably bribed to make that ridiculous statement to you l own 2 hondas and they are very dependable. if your looking at the j.d power ratings keep this in mind that they do not factor in engine parts you must be a desperate salesperson trying to make a sale.

Hyundai/KIA are coming at very high speed. Toyota already build an excellent reputation, but the prices you pay for an used one is incorrect, better a new Hyundai.
The new Entourage/Sedona is amazing, it only need a 8 seat passenger to be perfect.
