Im wondering what is the most miles anyone hase ever put on their hyundai assuming all the maintenance has been done correctly(time and quiality). reason being: Im lookin to buy an 06 tibby with 44k miles on it and l sorta wanna know what to expect. please gimme real and informative . thnx

That is alot for a 06, it would want to be cheap, and look for the service records too. Good luck.

l say there is no such thing as max mileage from an engine or any vehicle period, it all depends on how well it was manufactured, and then maintained by the owner/s. some cars can last many years before needing any kind of major repair and some can fall apart right off the dealer lot.

l also say you should go pick up a (Consumer Reports Automotive Magazine. or visit them on line. there you can read all about the information you might want.

my friend got his moms, it is a 01 accent, that now has 313,000 miles on it, she did heavy comuting, and now she gave it to him, and she got a new accent, all he had to do, was a new clutch, brakes, and a sway bar, but thats because he broke it trying to street race

44k on an 06 that is a good bit in just a year but if the upkeep was good on the car ur gonna be fine that is nothing for miles on a car anymore it is just gettin broke in good

stay away from it. the current owner just doestn want to push it to the junkyard. l say get something more reliable like a chevy or a toyota

They last about just as long as other asian cars like Honda and Toyota.
