They do not hold their value for resale.

Have not heard much. l think they've improved their safety considerably in the last few years.

Honestly, & l do not know if this will help or not, l would not buy a Hyundai. I've had mine for four years, & I've had to repair it quite a bit. In the past, I've neglected my cars, but I've been very careful about this one. Yet I've done $1200 in repairs just this year already.

I've also had dealings with Hyundai directly (corporate), & it has NOT been fun. They know they make poor quality vehicles, so they've covered their behinds to make sure they do not have to pay for things that should've been recalled.

What would u like to know. Hyundais r getting better & better each year. They r decent inexpesive cars. Just remember u get what u pay for. There is no resale value of any real substance. They r expensive to maintain, parts r expensive, r expensive to fix in minor collisions (they do not crash well) They will how ever get u from point a to point b. There r many better cars that will give u over all lower cost per mile operation cost. In the industry they car considered disposable cars.

My friend has a 2007 Accent and its one solid car. It rides nice comes with a lot of features and looks great too. Hyundai has come a long way over the past 5 years and are now an extremely reliable company that backs everything they make with a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.So buying a Hyundai would be a smart decision if you want a great car but dont want to spend a lot of many.

Totally bogus..but better than a Kia or a Daewoo!!

JD Power Ranks Hyundai #3 (behind Porsche & Lexus) in Initial Quality & Consumer Reports ranks them #7 in long-term reliability.Mercedes is dead last at #36 & no American or European brand makes their top 10. They have the best safety features & prices for the money. Hyundai/Kia is the #7 selling brand in the US market behind Nissan & far ahead of the #8. Hyundai is the Mercury to Kia is Ford if u know what l mean. All cars have 5 yr 60K mile bumper to bumper warranty & 10 yr 100K powertrain. Parts r slightly higher then American/Japanese brands, but less then European. Resale values r improving & surpassing American brand cars, not close to Japanese yet though.

It is truely astounding to me how far they've come. l remember a woman who used to own a Hyundai Excel. The thing sounded like a lawnmover & was the biggest piece of crap second only to a GEO. Now, the Sonata & Azera r cars that l consider very good (do not get me wrong, their two SUVs, the Tiburon, the Accent, etc. r still good, l just think of the Sonata & Azera as being their flagships). The Sonata is a pretty good competitor to the Honda Accord & Toyota Camry (although both r still better) & the Azera is a good competitor to the Toyota Avalon (if not better). They still do have a ways to go, & everything that people above me said about maintenence & resale value is true. But there is no doubt they've come a long way.

(Although if l were you, I'd look at the alternatives from Honda & Toyota first. Mise well get what u know to be good.)

l own a 2006 santa fe 59000 miles - 2005 santa fe 27000 miles - 2007 accent 1395 miles
and the accent gets 40 miles to the gallon
both santa fe get about 19 miles to the gallon

l have had no problems with any three cars

the hyundais are like any other hyundai since its exsistence in the us. dontt buy it. if moneys short buy a used reliable car

So far, l believe that Hyundai is have been the best over-all cars that have been developed for this year!!!

Their commercials prove that this automaker can beat big-brother Lexus, BMW, & Mercedes-Benz! Although they lack great features like parking itself, Navigation system, or some new technology that is not currently featured, Hyundai is becoming a next generation in luxury automobiles for a market of a smaller income.

07 Hyundai/Kia's? ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!
