it feels like it it is chuggalugging

Have you checked your starter?

first, its not your starter, it could be your fuel filter becoming dirty, your fuel pump going out, your injectors could b dirty, or one of you sensors on your injection system or exhaust could be going out. could also be plugs and plug wires

why do not you take the car to the dealer and get it checked it could be something under warranty and you wo not have to pay for.

l had a similar problem with my 2004 Hyundai Elantra & brought it to the Hyundai dealership (actually the towed it free because l could not get it to them very easily). They tried replicating the problem, but were unable to find anything.

Anyway, when this happened l did a bunch of research on other Hyundais with this problem & l found that there were a lot of 2002-2003 Hyundais that had a malfunctioning air flow sensor. If ur car is still covered under warranty, l would call them up & have them look at it for you, because this would be covered if that is the problem.

Just take it to the dealer and have them check it out. It does not cost anything to just have them look at it. Then you can see from there what needs to be done. Do not take it to a regular garage. They often rip off people. Always take it to a dealer.
