What does Consumer Report say about the Tiburon

They have not fully tested it so there is no report. Here is their summary.
''The Tiburon is a sporty coupe with tiny rear seats & a hatchback. Head room is meager. The GT trim we tested comes with a six-speed manual transmission that shifts pretty well but not precisely. The GT is 2.7-liter V6 is smooth & refined but is not eager to rev. Base models continue to use a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. Handling is fairly nimble, but the car feels nose-heavy, & its steering is not particularly quick. The ride is very stiff, even for a sporty car. The SE model comes with standard stability control. Hyundai says that the 2008 model year will be the last for the Tiburon.''
Beyond that government crash test ratings were good, there were no IIHS results. There was no repair information given because there was not enough data.

l have a 2003 Tiburon and if to do so would buy the car again as it is fun to drive and does set very comfortable for the driver (at least for me). But to the report l can add nothing to ''Howard L'' answer as he gave a very correct answer,

l do not know of the consumer report, but l own a 2004 Tiburon GT (Limited edition [silver]). If ur thinking of buying this car l think l have a little advice for you.

Speed: Well, if ur like me & want to go fast this may not be the ''best'' choice. Sofar l have maxed out around ohhh 110 (not many straight roads around here), but its accelaration is rather slugish (automatic with its special manual mode [sports mode]).

Comfort: The Tiburon quite arguably is an extremly comfortable ride. It is low to the ground which ''can'' be difficult to people that tend to get stiff really easily but other than that it feels like ur the pilot of a jet.

Looks: You can probaly answer this yourself but any tiburon above 1999 looks GREAT!!!. The -1999 turns me off because of its area around the tail lights & the head lights. Thats my only problems with it.

Sound: This thing PURRS!

CD/Raidio: The CD Player (infinity) is average, its nothing special, but not really any complaints. Raidio, lil week but who listen is to it anyway?

Speakers: Mostly like CD Player, they have a fairly nice Bass.

Control/Steering: l purchased mine used, the steering wheel seems to be slanted (alignment prob most likley) but thats just cosmetic. The steering is flawless, brakes if not prepared ur 1st round can throw u out of ur seet ^^.

Overall: 8/10, Things it could use are- More accelaration, & maybe a better CD Player. l would suggest this if ur wanting a nice sporty looking car on a budget. BTW! Do not get silver/white.My silver looks like its muddy 24/7 =/ My faught since it was the only one in stock & l had to have it.
