tried to jailbreak itouch, froze in the middle of it and started to go black and started scrolling white data... wont connect to itunes or register on the computer. restoring does not work... help!

The iPod Touch should NOT be jailbroken.
By upgrading to the 2.1 V software off iTunes ($10) it did not need to be jailbroken anymore. Jailbreaking it actually ''breaks'' it.
Restore will NOT work. You could attempt to bring it to an Apple Store, playing dumb, & get them to use their flashing software to restore it via Apple, if it should be under warrany. They do it at the Genius Bar in store.
If they do not want to help u & know u voided ur warranty, u may have ''bricked'' it. This means u CANNOT fix it.not until someone comes out with a firmware flash to undo it. DO NOT TELL THEM u broke it yourself. Say it just ''acted funny when accessing iTunes'' & u saw the Apple & it froze. Classic sign of more common firmware glitch.
