l own a 2007 Hyundai Accent, 3 dr, automatic.l was just wondering if anybody knows what size tire is the standard for this car? Somebody told me 13'' somebody else said 15''... just looking to get my fact straight.

Second question, does anybody know if you can have 2 snow tires, rather than 4???

Thank you in advance!

VERY SIMPLE!! go outside and on the sidewall of all your tires there are some numbers, they might say R185-70-15 this is the size of the tires on the car already. record the size in your maintenance book. also look in the service book under tires and it will tell you.If you only have 2 tires you can use them,BUT put them on the front for better traction

Your tire size should be on the drivers side front or rear door jam with the tire pressure info & vehicle weight. 13'' is rare any more unless it is a very small car like an Metro or Aveo. If u have the orginal tires & wheel on the car it will say the size right on the tire with the wheel size. it will be something like P195/75R15. The 15 on the end will be the wheel size. As far as snow tires go. If it is front wheel drive snow tire on the just the front would be ok, because the front wheels r the drive wheels & the turning wheels. Although rear snow tires would also help with braking.

it depends on which accent u have - the GLS & GS came with 14'' wheels, the SE had 16's. As the other poster said, it is written on the sidewall of ur tires, just look & buy the same size.

You can get two snow tires (mount on front since that is a fwd car), but four is better. The front wheels may be the only ones that make the car go, but the rears do matter when stopping & turning. Keep in mind, when ur snow tires r on, ur other tires r not getting used, so they will last longer - so the cost of snows is not as high as it seems.

You can check tirerack.com for reviews & pricing on different tires
