l am moving from az to texas im driving my 2000 chevy lumina to pull my 2001 hyundai lumina l was told l could tow it but l have the slight es idea on how to tow it please help any links or help is greatly appreciated since l will be driving out of phoenix on the 18 of oct please help thanks much

Dont have anyone else that could drive or maybe just fly back and make a second trip? Or have a friend drive the other car and pay them for a plane ticket back for them? Only way would be getting a trailer hitch installed on the car and then renting a car trailer(one the just holds front tires) from uhaul and return it at another location.There is really no other way.

l am not aware of any car that is capable of towing another car. You are better off just selling the car you do not need since you only have 1 driver. There is no way a Chevy Lumina can pull 2000+ pounds safely, you will do a lot of damage to the frame and transmission. Another option is to hire a transportation company to ship the car, should be under $500 for the distanc you are traveling.

Yeah, you could tow it behind a large pickup or SUV, not behind another car. Most cars can only tow upto 1000 pounds, I''m pretty sure both your cars are about 3000 pounds. l agree with poster 2, sell the car or find a 2nd driver or shipping company. Ask a friend to drive the 2nd car and pay to fly him back.
