go to your local autoparts store and pick up a repair manual for that year make and model..they are fairly cheap..10 to 20 bucks

Check out this link. He will show you how to do it. Although he is working on a Honda Accord changing a valve cover gasket is pretty much the same on most cars especially on a 4 cyl.
