When the tire pressure is low, does this light come on? It is on my spedometer and just says ''TPMS''. Mine goes off and on, and I am wondering if this is normal (temperature changes causing change in the pressure), or if it means something is wrong with the system and l need to take it to the dealer... Does anyone else have this problem?

l am sure you have an owners manual.

TPMS = Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Yes, you have low pressure on at least 1 tire.

Just because the TPMS lights comes on does not mean the tire has low pressure, l have inspected a lot of cars with that problem & most likely its the main computer, u will be told its the tire low on pressure, but when u check it its fine, u may be told not to worry about it but when u purchased the vehicle the light was not on, return to the dealership & demand it be fixed. If they cant fix it for good then call the Lemon Law attorneys at Krohn & Moss Lemon Law for some free advise, there on the web & they get results fast. Good Luck & God Bless

The tire pressure monitoring system on ur Tiburon is looking for the pressure on all 4 tires. If it is above the upper limit (about 37 lbs) it will come on & if it is below the lower threshold (26 pounds) it will come on. If it coming on & going off, it is most likely on the upper or lower threshold when the tire is cold, then after driving the pressure increases. Have ur tire pressures set to 30PS l if u have the 16 inch wheels, if u have the 17 is set the front to 35psi & the rear to 32psi.

TPMS is a really stupid thing. l have sonata 2007 as well & l had same problem to. l might sound crazy but l have noticed that when ever l was using my fm transmiter for my ipod to listen the music the light will come on all the time. Since l have stopped using FM transmiter, its not on any more & its been almost a year. So my be u wanna try not to use FM transmiter if u r using one. Let me know as well if that help or not unless l will start using my FM transmiter again. '

thanks
