l need a cheap baby seat for an infant for my mums car and have found that a lot dont fit. Any help is appreciated.

l would never put my child in a Hyundai Accent. If you get into just a small accident, there is a great possibility the child will die. Its a very unsafe vehicle. Caution is needed.

l agree with Sunimo, l would not put a Baby in any Hyundai as l too think they are very unsafe cars. Furthermore you should consider the psycological damage you will inflict upon this child.

You need to make sure u r using a rear facing child seat & put it only in the backseat. You will likely have to put the passenger seat all the way forward with the seat back upright in order to make it fit. The Accent is a small car, but just as safe as any other small car on the road. The fact is, most children killed (just like adults) in car accidents is due to improper seat belt or child seat use. You can go to ur local fire department & they will show u the proper method to install the car seat & the baby into the car seat. Good Luck

It is a safe car. l think it got a 5 star safety rating, which is better than most SUV's. The weight of the car has nothing to do with the safety. All baby seats should fit in the Accent.
Check a ''Babies R Us'' store. They have lots of baby seats at different sizes

The Accent is a safe car - should you not be worried about putting your child into a CHEAP CAR SEAT also!!!!
l would never buy anything but top of the range car seat for my children. It makes more difference than what type of car its in!
