what kind of bulbs are you using and.. are you touching the bulb while installing it? The oils on our hands can melt the bulb. tell us more details.

there is a few reasons why you have to change bulbs frequently
1 you are using low quality bulbs, those china xenon lights are very bad in quality
2 are you turn lights on during daylight? thats make the bulb gets overheating
3 have instaled a HID system and using non HID bulbs
4 check the plug of the bulb with the heat they get melted and need a replace

If you are using those higher wattage/brighter bulbs sold on ebay and auto stores, then you must know they do not last very long. Using those bulbs can also ruin your light wiring. If your wires are no good you can get replacements at the autostore for about $25 for both headlights. l suggest using the same wattage bulbs as came from the factory, that should solve your problem.

l had this problem with my 2003 sonata. the dealer was unable to give a great explanation for it. Are you going to a dealer to replace them? With my warranty they have replaced them free for the last 5 years. l think each bulb has a warranty on them, and since l was going through them before it was up. l stupidly paid $25.00 for the first one, and my dad swore alot trying to get it in!

Not sure about yours, but l can tell you that the Hyundai headlamp bulbs do not seem to last as long as other vehicles I've been involved with. Typically, the low beam bulbs go out before the 60K mark. That is OK, they are covered under the 5yr/60K warranty. If your out of warranty, the dealer will sell you bulb #18647-55007-L for about $10 each and they are not too hard to replace.
