Are Hyundai Accents good in the snow

I am thinking about buying a 2004 Hyundai Accent but l live in Vermont during the winter and was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this car in ice and snow.. l know it is not as good as a 4x4 but just any input would be great

Slap on some good winter tires and you're good to go.

No. They are light so they do not dig in snow, but the tires on the Accent are very small and narrow. They do not have enough traction unless you buy bigger, wider wheels and tires.

Dont buy the Accent if your going to spend that kind of money buy the Elantra. The Elantra is good in snow l have had no problems whatsoever. l have an 06 Elantra and l love it.
