l just put new battery cables on it and an alternater, so l dont know what is wrong with it. l dont know if it is the starter switch or just the starter . l dont even know the difference between the two. but l need my car to start running bc its been like this for alomst four months now.

check your connections for white calcium deposits/corrosion make sure they are clean..mine woulkd not start ..this was the problem

If the vehicle cranks, but does not start, chances are that it is the crank sensor. It is located just under the exhaust manifold and held in place with a 10 mm bolt.
