what gas should i use in my 2008 Hyundai Elantra

Consult your owners manual. There should be information on what grade gasoline to use in the index.

87 octane-no more than 10%ethanol. We use that in the numerous hyundai is we have owned or own. We average 34-36 MPG on our 05 elantra. Not necessary to use premium gas. Our elantra had almost 80,000 problem free miles.

The manual says use 87 or higher of unleaded fuel (no ethanol). l just got mine about a couple of weeks ago and l only put premium 93 grade; unfortunately where l am, l do not have the preferred 91.

every car & brand of gas is different & so r drivers so only way to know which one to use is by testing to see which one gets u the best mileage.. only way of doing it is by buying a tank & marking the miles down & do it with each tank of each brand.best to start with where u stop every week try all the type they have one will get u better mileage. then try another brand like across the street & do the same & one of them will also get better mileage..and then u just remember.. my nissan runs great off of shell reg & runs great off of mobil high octane but gets the same mileage from either

regular 87 octane

Regular 87 octane is what is recommended . A higher octane will not give any better performance or mileage , it may even reduce mileage.
