l put in a new clutch kit on a tiburon 2003 2.7. The car does not wanna take in the gears. When l took it apart l observed that flywheel is middle plate rotates a little. l have never seen this on any other clutch...is this normal for a tiburon or should l replace thew flywheel? thanks

the flywheel is probably ok it is unlikly to cause that problem, what is the chance you put the friction disc in backwards that will cause that problem or you have the wrong throw out bearing, just some ideas does it go into gear with the engine off, that makes sure your linkage is all goood

Did you ensure that the throw-out bearing got seated good? It gets hung up sometimes, and is difficult to seat. I'd try that first, before pulling everything back out. You might have to ''help'' the throw-out bearing rod.

the movement on the flywheel is normal. your vehicle is equipped with a dual mass flywheel. it is designed to cut down on vibrations when shifting gears. more than likely the clutch disc or throw out bearing is installed wrong or there is not enough lube on the shaft the throw out bearing rides on.
